Concetta Cafiso Cannizzaro Obituary

Concetta was born in Italy on April 29, 1901. Her parents were Vincenzo Cafiso and Concetta Oechipenti. Vincenzo arrived in America in 1913. The two Concettas and older son Ernesto joined him in 1914. On January 1, 1923, Concetta married Antonio Sergi. They had a daughter named Catherine Sergi, born around 1924. Antonio died on May 27, 1929.

Meanwhile, Mario Cannizzaro married Antoinette Acquista on August 15, 1931. Antoinette was 8 months pregnant when she developed problems with the pregnancy and died. The unborn child did not survive. Two years later, Mario married Concetta on July 8, 1934. Mario and Concetta had a daughter of their own: Mary Cannizzaro, born around 1935.

Catherine married Joseph Aloisio in 1951. Mary married Phillip Di Novo in 1960.
